Summary
My role on the LaunchPAD project developed an Africa specific diagnostic framework for climate models using code automation technology and model metric collaboration with project fellows. This was deployed in two ways. Firstly, opensource using GitHub and a selection of individually executable Python modules. Secondly, within Auto-Assess, the UK Met Office’s model evaluation toolbox.
Additional responbilities included training, climate data management and system administration tasks.
